Me and a journalist were given the opportunity to join two police officers on patrol in their police boat, patrolling the waters in the Oslo fjord outside Hurum, Norway.

I and a journalist had the priviliege of going on a patrol with two police officers on one of their routine patrols during the summer of 2011. - A warm summer day in 2011, July 27 to be exact.
Me and a journalist were given the opportunity to join two police officers on patrol in their police boat, patrolling the waters in the Oslo fjord outside Hurum, Norway. 
The driver of this boat was given a warning for maintaining high speed too close to shore.

Boat driver given citation for maintaining speeds exceeding 8 knots too close to shore.
The officer fills out the citation form.
A citation is given for entering the harbor area at a higher speed than permitted.
Youngsters given a warning for driving too fast too close to shore with people on the inflatable seen in the photo.
This boating enthusiast was lucky. While the officers were speaking to him, the man in the next photo raced by, maintaining high speeds exceeding way above 8 knots, too close to shore, as well as through a protected bird reservoir.
He was given a citation and an earful.
